Hospice Care Delivered Safely
Patients with life-limiting medical conditions are especially vulnerable to COVID-19, influenza and other infectious diseases. The St. Croix Hospice Safe+Care Promise is our continued commitment to practicing important safety precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other contagious illnesses.
COVID-19 Testing/Vaccination
Staff are vaccinated and tested as required by state and national current guidelines.
Safe Distance
Unless we are providing direct patient care, we practice social distancing in all situations.
Virtual Admins & Care
Our telehealth services include virtual consults, admissions and care upon request.
Arming Staff With Knowledge
We practice ongoing staff training and education to prevent the spread of infection, including COVID-19.
Full PPE
Our care teams wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, eye protection and a facemask as required for direct patient care.
Screening Ourselves
St. Croix Hospice employees perform a daily temperature check and screen for COVID-19 symptoms.
